Hi guys
well, i think i need to hear a 2nd opinion about this issue i'm gonna talk about 'n' when i said i need i really meant it
Ok, let's start
i never wanted something so bad the way i wanted the Ph.D
i've been dreaming about it 4 so long, 'n' finally i've got
a school that accepted me, since it's hard 4 us saudi to be accepted in that major, i even passed all the interviews that i went through in here or in Orlando last december
everything sounds cool till i start to have a 2nd though about the whole thing, WHY?
'cos i can't leave my dady, 'cos no one will take care of him the way i do
i know that i may not be happy if i didn't go, but i feel that i'm gonna be miserable if i left him alone, 'n' i believe that god won't
let me down .
Now what should i do?
if i turned them down i may not be able to find a seat over there 4 good,>>>>>>>>>>
oh well

You have no problem at all
since U have younger brother, let him get the responsibilities from now on
U are not gonna stay forever at dad's house , one day U will get married or go to study abroad..
i know that taking care of our parents is the first priorities in our duties as sons and doughters , but also our parents wouldnt stay in our way for better future..
i am sure that your dad ( inchallah ) after he come out of hospital and his health stablize he will tell U himslef that U should go and get athe degree

so as i said let someone form ur brothers or sisters take the responsibiliy with U
and of course U have to take the permission of your parents to leave

i hope u got my point. if not let me know and i will be more specific..

First: unfortunately I don,t have much information about your family situation
Second: always remember that oppurtuninty knock your door only once
Third: to go abroad for study , the girl needs a male companion
Fourth: think seriously about alternatives locally or in the nieghboring countries

Saying all the above I think you are required to make a very critcal decision

Sadeem mentioned about your brother.Is this the only brother you have.If he is the only brother then the situation is difficult since you need one of your brothers with you there abroad. Is there any set plans for marriage on your side?. If the answer is yes then it is logic to get married then go

Sometimes all you need is a bit of time to allow things to be fixed meaning if you try one year later you might well by that time get your father in a better shape or probably you got married

i am with u on your first and second points but the third and forth i am against
not naccesary for female to have someone with here when she go abroad to study
And as for her suject in PHD , no way she is gonna find alternative place locally

but sure she has brothers and i think they are old enough to take the responsibiltes from here whether sho go or not

the son is always the second man of the house
