Sept. 14, 2001 -- As on the day President Kennedy was gunned down or the day the Challenger blew up, none of us will ever forget the sick feeling in the pit of our stomach when we first learned of the monstrous attack striking America's head and heart. Or the grief, shock, and fear.
But when we watched the surreal scenes of the towers collapsing, lives snuffed out in a cloud of smoke, Palestinians dancing in the streets, rage engulfed many of us. While anger is understandable, how we handle it can make the difference between positive coping that supports our community, or senseless attacks destroying not only our neighbors but ourselves.
"I hope all can remember that anger and hate is what spawned this terrible tragedy against innocent civilians,"
