The 325xi Sports Wagon rolls into U.S. showrooms this fall, only a few months after its sedan siblings. As was the case last time, only the lower-output engine is offered-there's no 330. It sends its 215 hp to all four wheels, as all-wheel drive is standard. A rear-wheel-drive version will be added after the first of the year. Buyers have a choice of six-speed gearboxes: manual or Steptronic manu-matic. The car is a bit bigger than before and provides greater passenger and cargo space. Additional stowage is available under the floor; standard run-flat tires have eliminated the need for a spare tire.
