salam brother .. i did read the articale i'll tell you the truth here in USA they are trying to lower the horsepower on those low price cars. if you see the new Impala here in USA it is a V6 engine with low horsepower which you cant compare it with the old Impala. The Camaro .. they are lowring its horsepower .. i heared that they might not builed the Camaro SS no more . i heard from a manufacture person ..

they are trying to stop building powerfull cars because there are alot of death rate in USA .. so if you do compare between the first Camaro was built and the new Camaro you will be shocked because before they had 406hp while now just 325 or less ... this is so sad. the Corvette you could get more then 406hp now it is 350hp ... that means the GM trying to lower there cars horsepower ... this is the truth and it is very sad

شو هي السيارة اللي بتطالبون فيها ؟

شكراً لك أخوي على الرد والكلام اللي قلته حصل بالفعل
أقوى كورفيت صنعت سنة 1969 وكانت بمحرك سعة 7.4 لتر وبقوة 435 حصان (إسم المحرك L89)
ولو تتابع تاريخ الكورفيت بتلاقي إن قوة محركاتها بدأت من 150 حصان سنة 1953 إلى محرك الـ ZOR الحالي 385 حصان
لكن ما أعتقد إن السبب اللي ذكرته صحيح أو حتى الفكرة بشكل عام
الملاحظ إن GM تحاول الإعتماد على محركات أصغر حجماً من القديمة ويمكن البداية كانت باليوكون والسوبربان
أما وقف إنتاج الكومارو فهذا يشمل كل أنواعها ، مش بس SS وحتى الترانز أم وأعتقد إن أسباب وقف الإنتاج تجارية بحتة

على فكرة ، أول وأقوى كمارو صنع كان بقوة 295 حصان وصنعت خصيصاً لمنافسة الموستنج لأنها صنعت بعد 4 أشهر من طرح الموستنج.
لكن الخبر المحزن اللي كانوا يقصدونه popularmechanics هو توفر الكابريس في استراليا والشرق الأوسط وعدم توفرها في أمريكا.

to E55 you are right brother about what you said Corvette was the powerfull car ever .. i love it ..

أنتوا نسيتوا محرك الـZR-1؟؟؟؟؟؟؟؟

هذا المحرك يعتبر غريب بالنسبة لسيارات شيفرولية بسبب أنه الوحيد من نوع DOHC و32 صمام و405 حصان وكما هو معروف هذا النوع من المحركات يعتبر أغلى من الـOHC و الـOHV والـSOHC حتى أن السيارة كانت تباع بـ80,000$!!! "مقابل 50,000$ للـZO6".
