after i install modem to win 95 with com3 it dose not work_ if you say more _from controle pannel ,modem ,,,, it said" can not open port"????? what is that mean

Ok>>>>
try go to System in a Control Panel
From the Syetem go to Device Maneger
and look to the (Ports &LPT)see if ur Modem avilabel or not
or try to use Port 4 for the Modem becuse mybe there another device use port 3

I ALRADY TRY IT_BUT DID NOT .....
,MY FRIEND HAD ASAME PROBLEM WITH WIN 95 ,, HE SAID THAT WIN95 CAN NOT INTRODUCE _KNOW_ _PCI MODEM_ I REMEMBER THAT HE SOLVE HIS PROBLEM BY INSTALLING A PCI BUS _THEN WIN95 RECOGNIZE _KNAW_THE MODEM AND SAID FOUND KNEW DEVICE _
WHAT DID YOU ADVICE_TO DO_ I CAN NOT FIND THAST FRIEND _WHAT SOFTWEARE HE YOU TO SOLVE THAT PROBLEM????????????????

اخ العزيز
يجب عليك اولا : تغيير الجامبر JUMPER على المودم نفسه واجعله صالح للعمل على com3 والا فانه لن يعمل.
والجامبر عبارة عن قطعة صغيرة جدا حوالى 4 مم فى 4 مم وهى تعمل توصيل او تقفل بين عدد 2 pin و يمكنك معرفة ارشادات تجهيز com3 من الكتالوج المرفق مع الكودم .لمزيد من الاستفسار ارجو مراسلتى.

you have to change the jumpers on the modem card
respect the instructions on the catalog of the modem
put the jumpers on the right place for com3.
because the manufacture put it in com2 usually.
